The Up-Right Fishing Rod transportation system provides a convenient, safe and secure way to transport your rods and reels to your next fishing destination!
It is conceptually similar in design and functionality to the original low profile rack, however, the rod holder tubes have been re-designed to accommodate different types of fishing reels and keep them locked in an up-right vertical position featuring the locking rings to ensure that the rods are not shifting or rotating in any direction while in motion.
This system is designed to work well with spinning, conventional, bait caster and even fly outfits, it fits all factory OEM and majority of aftermarket roof racks.
The Up-Right Fishing Rod transportation system is also equipped with a molded locking mechanism for enhanced security and peace of mind. Customer service is excellent. I had a minor issue and they took care of it quickly with a smile. The Upright Rod Rack is awesome for my 4 door Tacoma. I have several 6’+ one-piece spinning rods and they do not fit inside the cab in a way that is safe for the rods or me and my friends. With the Up-Right system I can use it with the roof rack, or more recently I have moved it to the cross bars that go over the truck bed. The rods only stick out past the tailgate by a few inches. IT IS AWESOME!! The rods are much more protected in this rack than they are in the cab. I love this product and again, the customer service is impressive. Hard to find that in a company now.
